Thank you for your testimony! Yes! We must meet the sinners where they are, not 'fix' them before bringing them to God, or even the congregation. Some people don't want someone in church that is addicted bc they could take advantage of naive members. But we must let them in to save them, violence notwithstanding. A note about KJV: I read the KJV bible as a child after what happened to me. I had to look up ever other word even tho I was reading at a college level in 3rd grade. The archaic language made it like eating uncooked rice. I had no guide since I was raised atheist and mom only kept a bible on the coffee table for looks. If I had access to a modern English one, I would have been able to study it, not just dedicate myself to reading it cover to cover. My reaction to the 'begets' part was the first time I ever tried skimming. Even if someone is an adult, I suggest the NIV. I am actively looking for a baptist church that will let me bring my NIV. A note about and my experience as a baptist, the church I am about to return to: David was anointed as king BEFORE he killed golaith. It was indicated in baptist sunday school (my babysitter brought me) that the act made him king. When I was told the story of adam and eve, they indicated eve tricked adam to eat the apple, just bc that is what adam claims to God, but he was literally standing right next to her as she tried it. Genisis 3:6. The verses look to me like he might have even been there when she was being convinced, despite what he says to God later. He was standing right there so he was going to let her be the guinea pig. When she didn't immediately die, as God had promised (Gen 3:3) would happen, he tried it. What he didn't know was that he would grow old and die (vs. insta-death) and he would have the eternal death of not being with God in the afterlife. What SHE didn't know was that the tree of knowledge means bigger brains, which means bigger heads, which means painful childbirth. Their curses were cause and effect, but make no mistake God made the rules and literally said 'these are the things I curse you with'. But the pastor during regular teen/kid sermon after sunday school seemed to indicate that no woman should ever have agency over her husband, bc of what eve did, even tho the bible says our bodies belong to each other. The reason why I return to baptists is that no church is perfect. Even the first churches had to be guided. Paul and John didn't write all those letters for nothing.

I pray for God to change me, but I also directly ask how I can change myself. I get the answers. Its like it becomes obvious as soon as I ask. Its like when I prayed for the nightmares to go away, since I had been having them for a year and I was starting to fear going to sleep. They kept going. Finally I asked how I can get rid of them. He said 'Do something hard'. Of course. My life was going swimmingly for like 10 years. Almost zero stress. No challenges to speak of. My brain must be releasing cortisol while seeping bc I have no use for it in the day. So I took up hiking. It worked.

I’m laying in bed with withdrawals from a major kratom addiction. I believe the gospel and I have faith in Christ Jesus, but how can I be saved and fighting addiction? How can someone saved struggle with things like this? I wish I could be normal and a great Christian. I’m a rotten mess. I’m so tired of doubting my salvation.

Up north in Maine we got “Red Snapper” hot dogs, I wonder if red hot dogs and French descended populations in your area and my area have anythinh to do with it. Cause there ain’t no red hotdogs or sausages anywhere else in the US (as far as I know of)🤷🏼‍♂️

The jew is the architect of virtually everything 'Christians' complain about in this country. From the murder of 64 million innocent babies. The attack on children trying to convince them they are another sex, going so far as to attempt to physically alter their sex. Which can not be done by the way. The complete and utter corruption and degeneracy of all government entities. The endless wars not for the US, but for the jew. The blatant robbery of the people for the elite. The rampant drug problems. The rampant suicide rates that are accelerating exponentially. Select agents. Toxic chemicals literally everywhere. Look up PFAS, now in every fresh water supply on earth. Nuclear waste that will be around for tens of thousands of years. Destruction of the family unit. Destruction of morals and principles And on and on. All of this and much more is rooted in the jew. Wake up, man.
